I started this guide service when friends, and then friends of friends, were calling me either to help them with rigging baits or to come out on their boat and fish with them. Most didn't have the right gear, needed to boat these sea monsters, and didn't want to spend the thousands needed to do it right, but wanted desperately to catch a "swordy" on their own boat. The cost of all the gear was the biggest problem for them. They spent all that money on their boat but didn't have the "Big Guns" need for swordfish.

From this came the idea of Night Fighters Swordfish Guide Inc.

Although I'm a Captain, USCG 100 Ton Master, my job onboard is to work the pit, setup and manage the tackle and gear. You maintain control of your own vessel.
